This statement relates to our own privacy practices on this website. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites reached through external links on our site, including college, CAO, and apprenticeship websites.

When you create a MyCareerVerse account, the categories of personal information we process are:

• School
• Educational status (for example, your year group or Leaving Certificate cycle)

MyCareerVerse does not collect unnecessary information about its users, such as gender, race, mobile phone numbers, or date of birth, except where information is needed to meet the requirements of the digital age of consent.

Your MyCareerVerse dashboard stores the following information, and only if you choose to provide it:

• Results of the PRISM assessment
• Results of the Career DNA Quiz
• Results of our quick aptitude and reasoning tests, such as situational judgement, abstract reasoning, and spatial reasoning
• Courses, careers, and other content you save while exploring the site
• Any CAO points information or study details you enter

This information is used only in the delivery and improvement of MyCareerVerse.ie. It is not used for profiling or micro-targeting, and we will not sell, rent, or trade this information to any third party.

Personal accounts

For personal accounts, your dashboard is private to you. You are the only user who can access this information.

School licence accounts

Where your school holds a MyCareerVerse school licence, your dashboard forms part of your school's career guidance programme and may be viewed by your Guidance Counsellor. This access is used only for the purpose of delivering the school's guidance programme and providing you with personal guidance. If you have any questions about who can see your dashboard, or wish to remove your account from your school's licence at any time, contact us at info@mycareerverse.ie.

• To help users assess their interests, aptitudes, goals, and skills
• To direct users to courses, apprenticeships, and careers that suit those interests, goals, and skills
• To save your assessment results and shortlists so you can return to them at any time
• To ensure that data stored in your dashboard can be retrieved by you alone
• To test and improve the site, so we can continually deliver a better experience to our users

Our legal bases

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, our contract with you to provide the MyCareerVerse service, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving how it works. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Technical details connected with visits to the website are logged for statistical purposes. These include:

• The IP address of the internet connection. We may use this to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the website.
